Activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League, the student wing of ruling Awami League, allegedly launched attacks on Juba League, another front organisation of the ruling party, during an anti-shutdown protest rally, in the capital, leaving five people wounded.
The attacks were carried out at West Rampura in the city around 11 am on Thursday.
The injured who are not identified yet were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
