Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith has suggested the National Board of Revenue (NBR) to fix a special day to collect tax.
“If NBR fixes a day, people will be able pay tax on the day”, the minister said this at the launching ceremony of three day-long income tax fair at the Officers Club on Thursday.
A three day-long income tax fair ‘Winter Tax Fair’ began on Thursday to encourage people for paying income tax to widen the tax net.
NBR is organising the fair in seven divisional headquarters including Dhaka for the first time in the country.
