National ID mandatory for launch travelling

Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA) announced that national character cards are obligatory for voyaging dispatch. 

The choice was made after a perspective trade gathering of power of BIWTA at Barisal stream port on Tuesday evening. 

Sources said that the choice was taken to make the stream course sheltered and hazard free.

Mixed drinks blasted close DU, 4 harmed : 

A sum of four individuals were harmed when four mixed drinks have been blasted at TSC of Dhaka University and neighboring ranges in the capital on Wednesday evening.

Bombs blast harms 4 in city : 

Four individuals including three kids were harmed in a bomb blast in a home at Lalbagh range in city on Wednesday. 

The harmed are Bappi, 25, Happy Akter, 12, Jhumur, 15 and Ripon, 6. 

Sources said that a bomb blasted when Bappy was making bombs in the home around 3:00pm, leaving the four individuals harmed. 

The harmed were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital Burn Unit. 

Affirming the matter Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Mafiz Uddin said that a hand of Bappi disengaged from his body in the bomb blast. 

Later, police kept 10 individuals from the home in this association.

Writ filed seeking dialogue between Hasina, Khaleda

A writ appeal has been documented with High Court looking for its orders on Prime Minister Sheik Hasina and  BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia to sit in a dialog to resolution the country`s political standoff. 

Advocate Eunus Ali Akond, a Supreme Court legal advisor, documented the writ appeal to as open investment case on Thursday. 

A seat headed by Justice Naima Haider will hear the request on Sunday. 

The request looked for the High Court's mandate on AL president and BNP director to meet and intention the on-going political conflict.

JCD pioneer hurt in bomb blast bites the dust : 

Bappi, who was harmed in a bomb blast at his home at Lalbagh in the city, kicked the bucket on Thursday morning. 

Bappi, a pioneer of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), passed on at Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 6.00am. 

Bappi (25) among four were harmed amid the impact when he was making bombs at around 3:00pm on Thursday, sources said. 

The other harmed are Happy Akter, 12, Jhumur, 15 and Ripon, 6.
