Bangladesh bank (BB) appointed observers to the boards of four state-owned commercial banks.
The appointment was confirmed through an executive order of the bank on Wednesday.
All of the observers are working in the Bangladesh Bank as executive directors.
Executive director and spokesman of the Bangladesh Bank Subhankar Saha said, "We want these banks work better than past."
Naushad Ali Chowdhury has been appointed observer in Sonali Bank, Ahmed Jamal in Janata Bank, Abdur Rahim in Rupali Bank and Nirmal Chandra Bhakta in Agrani Bank
