Violence, talks can’t go together: Ershad


HM Ershad, the special envoy to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on Saturday said that the 

creating violence and talks could not walk together.

Ershad also the Jatiya Party Chairman came up with the comment 

while addressing a party programme in the capital, this afternoon.

Pointing to the BNP-led 20 party alliance sponsored indefinite blockade and 

hartal programme, the Jatiya Party Chairman urged the political leaders in the 

country to resolve the crises soon through a fruitful dialogue.

“Shun politics of violence in the name of blockade, hartal and killing mass people.

” Ershad added.

Ershad also urged the countrymen to prevent the violence jointly.

Jatiya Party (JP) presidium member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, 

JP leader MA Hannan, Abul Kashem, Golam Kibria Tipu, Abdus Sabur Asud, 

Sifuddin Ahmed Milon, Sunil Shuvo Roy, Taj Rahman were also present, among others, at 

the programme.


BNP to fail again: Rashed Khan

Rashed Khan Menon, president of the Workers Party, also civil aviation and tourism

 minister said that BNP’s movement will fail again.

The Minister came up with the assertion while addressing an inaugural ceremony 

at Bakri of Narail district on Saturday afternoon. 

Rashed Khan Menon said that there is no scope to become successful of

this movement. There is no participation of people in 20 party alliance’s blockade. 

Using some men the alliance is conducting terrorist activity, he added. 

Workers Party of Bangladesh Fazle Hossain Badshah MP, 

Workers Party politburo member Bimal Biswas, 

Anisur Rahman Mallik, Monoz Shaha among other were attended in the programme.
