Though the scaffolds have already been prepared for executions of the two condemned war-criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed, it is still misty when the death-row convicts would be hanged.
As the convicts have yet taken decision on the presidential clemency, the executions are being delayed.
Earlier, on Thursday the convicts told that they will inform later their decisions whether they will seek presidential clemency or not. But still they could not take any decision about the only option left for them.
Sources said that to execute the condemned war-time criminals on Thursday night, the jail authority was taken all preparations; the hangmen were also kept ready, but they could not officially execute them as the convicts did not inform their decision on presidential mercy.
