Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has ruled out any controversy over the mercy pleas made by the two executed war criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed.
He said that the two condemned war criminals Salauddin Quader Chowdhury and Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed sought presidential mercy, admitting their charges committed during the liberation war in 1971, at the last minutes of their walking gallows. There is no scope to doubt in it.
The home boss came up with the clarification at his office in Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday.
