Government has reshuffled in 19 posts of Bangladesh Police.
The reshuffle came in the posts of Additional Inspector General (AIG), three Deputy Inspector General (DIG), three Additional Deputy-Inspector (ADIG) and in the posts of another 12 Police Supers.
The Ministry of Home Affairs issued a notification in this regard, on Thursday.
Additional IGP Sheikh Hemayet Hossain of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) has been made chief of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
In the new reshuffle, the Additional DIG SM Ruhul Amin was made DIG of Railway Police`s Dhaka Range while DIG Mallick Fakhrul Islam is now the head of the Highway Police.
Additional DIG Mohammad Ali Miah was appointed as the chief of Highway Police`s Rajshahi Range, the notification also added.
